    • Your back foot moves farther apart apart as the clubs get longer

    How does the different ball position affect your weight at address?

    Your weight distribution from left to right foot will also vary with the change in your right foot position. A spectrum of weight distribution for reference would be Driver, 60-40 with more on the right foot for a right handed golfer, 7 iron 50-50, Pitching wedge, 60-40 favoring the left foot, and chipping 70-30 favoring the left foot. Remember though these are standard shots these might vary if you are hitting different trajectories or shot shapes.
