One of my most accomplished player’s 18 year old Emily Tubert. She was the winner of the Women’s Amateur Public Links, in 2010, a National Championship where she outlasted over 6000 participants. She is a two time Rolex Junior All American, and winner of multiple AJGA Junior golf invitationals. She is also the reigning California CIF Southern Section champion. Although Emily has only been playing golf for five years, she has risen to the top at every level. She is currently the highest ranked amateur in the United States. I have spent more time with her than any other student, and she is the best reflection of not only a great student, but my knowledge as a golf instructor.
She is currently a freshmen at the University of Arkansas, on a full golf scholarship. Her latest accomplishment is leading Arkansas to a win in the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic, where she was also the individual champion with a three day total of five under par. She also won the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, while posting a first round score of 63, a women’s NCAA record.
“… I couldn’t have won without Zach…”
