Posture for Power and Compression

Posture for Power and Compression

Summary

Using Tiger Woods as an example, Zach illustrates the importance of posture at address and impact to achieve better compression.

Key takeaways include:

• Bend forward enough from the hips

• Allow left knee to flex towards golf ball

• Angle of Inclination = Descending Strike

Zach, I believe the hands and handle of the club should return to the same position as they were at set up. I have little problem with the sand wedge but all other clubs seem to want to wander outward. Any tips on this. If my hands return to the position at set up, I hit the ball much better.
